What to expect

At all R2L hair removal clinics you will have an initial consultation where you will have the opportunity to ask any questions. A brief medical history will also be taken. This will be followed by a patch test on the area to be treated. A patch test involves testing a small area of your skin type to see how well it responds to the laser treatment. You will then be seen around 48 hours later to assess the laser’s effect. This will allow your laser practitioner to become familiar with your skin type and will work as a useful guide to optimise your treatment.

What is the Patch test?

The patch test involves non-invasive testing of a small area of your skin and treatment area to see how well it responds to the laser treatment. This is a pain free test carried out entirely by R2L’s experienced laser removal nurse practitioner.

What happens next

Following the patch test, you will be seen around 48 hours later to assess the laser’s effect. This will allow your practitioner to become familiar with your skin type and will work as a useful guide to optimise your laser hair removal treatment.

State of the art technology

Using only state of the art equipment, the innovative technology used by R2L achieves excellent results, permanently removing 97% of hairs whilst maximising comfort and minimising the duration of treatments.

How it works

Using a laser which targets the melanin in the hair follicle. The melanin absorbs the light and heats up, resulting in the hair follicle ceasing to produce hair.

All the treatments at R2L are safe, effective and non-invasive; carried out entirely by an experienced nurse practitioner with R2L’s client’s health and safety at the forefront of every treatment.
